We are so excited to be offering our summer theatre experience for students in the Parkland School District! This year we have expanded the workshops to include a wider range of ages and experience levels.
MUST REGISTER BEFORE May 31st. Spots are limited! All payment will be requested by June 5th. Please don't send payment until it's requested.
Workshops are held at Parkland High School auditorium and blackbox. **Student must be in Parkland School District to participate
WEEK ONE - June 17th-20th
MORNING SESSION ONLY 9:00am - 12:00pm - $180
Intro to Musical Theatre (students entering 4th & 5th) Instructors: Lori Colacito & Kate Pistone
This workshop will give younger actors a chance to explore musical theatre through dance, games and song. Students will learn how to work as part of an ensemble and build basic acting techniques. This session will culminate with an invitation to families to watch what students have learned during the week
WEEK TWO - June 24th-27th
*Evening performance for all Week Two camps will be on 6/27.
MORNING SESSION 9:00am - 12:00pm - $180
Musical Theatre Showcase (students entering 6th-8th) Instructor: Kate Pistone
This will be an opportunity for students to perform in a musical revue featuring Broadway songs. Students will focus on vocal technique and acting through song.
Improv Comedy (students entering 9th-12th) Instructor: Lori Colacito
Actors will sharpen their skills through the art of improv and sketch comedy.
AFTERNOON SESSION 12:30pm - 3:30pm - $180
