LORI COLACITO

Lori studied English and Theatre at Penn State University. While living in the Northeastern PA and Lehigh Valley she has directed over 30 productions for local theaters and schools. Her favorite directing projects include: Into the Woods (The Music Box Playhouse), Urinetown (KISS Theatre) Spring Awakening (Act Out Theatre), Cabaret (Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre), Barefoot in the Park (Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre), and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (The Pennsylvania Playhouse).  She has also created and implemented educational programs for kids in several schools and community theaters for the past 15 years. Currently, she is the new Parkland High School spring musical director. Her first show, Rogers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma, in April 2023 earned 16 Freddy Award nominations and won 4. In additional to teaching workshops for ACTING UP, she works with students at The Musik Makers and Pennsylvania Youth Theatre. She also owns Stage Door Photography, which specializes in head shot photography.

KATE PISTONE

Kate Pistone is a graduate of New York University and Atlantic Acting School. She has recently earned her master’s degree in Arts Administration from Kutztown University. Kate is a seasoned musical theatre and cabaret performer. On stage, she was most recently seen as Dr. Charlotte in Falsettos at Northampton Community College Summer Theatre. Favorite credits include Madame in The Maids (Cherry Lane Theatre), Girl in We Carry On (Manhattan Rep), Drood in The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Little Radicals Theatrics), Alison in Fun Home (Civic Theatre of Allentown), Heidi in [title of show](Civic Theatre of Allentown), Marcy Park in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (PA Playhouse), and Jeannie in Fat Pig (Touchstone Theatre). Currently, Kate teaches Music & Drama at the Swain School in Allentown, PA and works on theatrical productions for the Parkland School District.
