Hello friends!

Many of you know, we have both recently stepped down from our positions in the Parkland School District theatre program in order to grow our business and to serve more students without a conflict of interest. We founded Acting Up in 2019 to help students to strengthen their audition skills. Many local studios offer training in voice, dance, and acting, but our specialty is audition technique. When students are able to gain confidence and harness audition technique skills, their talent and passion can truly shine!

We are excited to be offering your program our Audition Start Up, a 60-minute group introductory audition workshop that is completely free of charge to you and to your students. Our high energy approach is accessible and beneficial to beginners and seasoned performers alike!

What your students will gain:

Participants will learn how to put their best foot forward for any theatre audition! We will go through audition basics and etiquette as well as give your students valuable confidence building tips. We will also be available 15 min following the workshop for any individual questions. Each student that attends will get a discount on a coaching session for their upcoming audition or a future group workshop!  

What’s next:

After any necessary school approval, we will work with you to pick a date and time. Once that is set, we will give you a link with info about the workshop as well as a registration form for to send out to your students.  We ask that there is a minimum of ten students to run the program. Our clearances can be provided upon request.
